Scope:

This position is responsible for assisting our Art Department with many different projects, both large and small scale. Our artists have a passion for maintaining a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests to help preserve the magic of our park.

Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design and Sign Making

• Studio Art/Painting Skills including but not limited too; Studio art/ Interior & exterior painting.

• Familiarity with 3D Forms such as sculpting, carving, fiberglass

• Use of a large-scale vinyl printer

• Responsible for the maintenance/upkeep of our historic Storybook Lane

• Work closely with the Art Department & Director of Marketing to develop signage throughout the company

• Prioritize art needs to be able to deliver results in a timely fashion

• Other tasks and projects assigned for the efficient operation of the business.

• Must be able to stand, walk and bend throughout the day.

• Certain projects require the use of ladders, ariel lift, and various power tools including sanders and jigsaws.

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions (outdoors)

Education, Experience and Key Competencies

• Knowledgeable in Illustrator
• Experience with vinyl printing and application
• A passion for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our team and guests.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Proactive; able to anticipate needs/problems and find solutions.
• Dynamic, energetic, and flexible.
• Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Willingness to work extra hours as required.
