    POSITION SUMMARY

    Centro Cultural Mexicano is a 501(C)-3 nonprofit organization with the mission of inspiring inclusive participation by the community in all aspects of education, culture, and society by providing opportunities to create a positive future. The Art Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating monthly art exhibits and weekly workshops. They will program activities in the Maker space for daily youth engagement.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Create and coordinate monthly art exhibits.

    · Responsible for developing, organizing and leading art and STEAM activities.

    · Assist with overall coordination, scheduling, management and administrative needs of art programs.

    · Demonstrates respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.

    · Responsible for materials inventory, ordering, and organization of supplies.

    · Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of equipment in creative space.

    · Support ongoing work environment needs.

    · Flexible schedule. Require evening hours.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    · Experience working with high school students

    · Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    · Ability to work well independently and in a team

    · Experience in developing and leading programs is a plus

    · Passion for working with community.

    · Ability to operate computers and related software programs such as Microsoft Office Excel, and graphics software.
