    Job description Electronics Engineer Job Description We are searching for a passionate, reliable electronics engineer to join our growing company. The electronics engineer's responsibilities include repair and preventive maintenance of automated equipment used throughout the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse equipment. Oversees maintenance of processes to reduce Equipment downtime and keep product flows and production lines running at maximum efficiency. Responsibilities: Leads teams of Maintenance Electronic & Electromechanics in predictive & preventive maintenance and machine repair. Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software. Responsible for the development, implementation, and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP's, Safety, etc.). Develops and/or maintains Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (supplier performance, 3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, etc.) Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations (USDA regulations). Monitoring processes, systems, and staff, and punctually identifying problems. Establishing relationships with staff, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals in the field. troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc. Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures. Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory. Provides regular status reports to maintenance management team. Install, maintains and repairs machinery: Electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and Ovens of gas combustion system, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings Perform other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by Supervisor. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Vocational trade school or 2 to 4 years equivalent professional experience in Electronical or industrial trade. Master's degree preferable. Knowledge of reading electronic and electrical diagrams Knowledge of PLC, AC drives and servo drivers (Allen Bradley) Practical experience with design software (AutoCAD). Experience in design recommended. Advanced Microsoft Excel Industrial (high volume) food processing experience. Knowledge of batch cooking operations, ovens, freezers, cooler, fryers, and high-speed packaging equipment. Ability to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Must be able to interpret operation manuals and variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Provides leadership and guidance to employees in the Maintenance Department. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent research and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills. Willingness to work overtime if required. Should have basic welding skills in Tig and Mig. Conversational Spanish required Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to travel throughout Production areas, climb ladders and stoop, kneel and crawl in small spaces. and factory environment, including refrigerated warehouses and heat in oven areas. Must be able to push, pull and lift occasional heavy loads (75 lbs.). Must be able to occasionally work from heights and on the roof.
