Arthroplasty Specialist
The Oak Med Inc Arthroplasty is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her assigned territory. Specialists must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. You will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments, focusing on the Arthroplasty company division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Oak Med Inc, an independent regional distributor authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
Set sales strategy for agency Arthroplasty business. Follow up with representatives, leadership and Arthroplasty Regional Manager frequently to ensure the strategy is being executed. When needed identify weaknesses and offer evidence-based solutions.
Maximize training to ensure growth and competency of product line for all agency personnel.
Present Arthroplasty products. Launch Arthroplasty new products within agency. Re-launch when necessary.
Strategically identify customer needs and work to price options and solutions - selling the value of the many solutions Arthrex has to offer. Creatively building quotes to meet the needs of the account.
Training representatives on Arthroplasty products and sales cycle as needed. Communicating product feedback to product managers and Arthroplasty Regional Sales Manager and recommending product line enhancements.
Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
Ability to organize multiple trials across multiple product lines simultaneously with a high level or organization.
Organize inventory, samples, product evaluation equipment and lab environment with the help of Medical Education director.
Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available. Address and report any product-related adverse events.
Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.
Work with territory leaders by providing coaching, training, or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
Experience as a representative in the orthopedic device market
Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.MS Office required.
