Job Description
An Artisan has expertise on products and processes at a minimum of two retail stations at an Eataly. An Artisan shares knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and recommends products and portion sizes. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothly
- Ensures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stations
- Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specifications
- Manages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitors
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
