Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Arts and Sports Administrator to support the operational and administrative aspects of our Kinderdance and Sportball programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth arts and sports, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to programs that enrich children's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for Kinderdance and Sportball, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and parent communications.
Support the coordination of classes, events, and free trial sessions in collaboration with instructors and program directors.
Oversee registration processes and maintain accurate records of participants.
Assist in hiring and onboarding new instructors, ensuring compliance with all required documentation and background checks.
Coordinate facility rentals, permits, and class supplies to ensure smooth program operation.
Develop promotional materials and support marketing initiatives (social media, newsletters, flyers) to attract participants.
Serve as a liaison between parents, instructors, and program directors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in program administration, particularly in arts, sports, or educational settings.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with NYC DOE permits and working with schools or community centers is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with scheduling software.
Passion for working with children and supporting creative, physical activities.
