About the Role:

Join our team at Blount Construction Company, Inc. as an Asphalt Paving Operator. We are a leading construction company with a focus on quality and safety, and we are looking for a skilled operator to help us continue our tradition of excellence.

Responsibilities:

Operate asphalt paver and other heavy equipment to lay and smooth asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning

Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Coordinate with other crew members to ensure efficient and high-quality work

Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper asphalt thickness and smoothness

Requirements:

3+ years of experience operating asphalt pavers and related equipment

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical stamina to perform manual labor as needed

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
