Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Position Summary: Responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCB) and electro-mechanical products of varying complexity. Tasks involve precise fitting, adjusting, and aligning of components using hand tools, power tools, and production machines. Work is guided by blueprints, schematics, and standard procedures. Must ensure quality standards in an ISO environment and follow safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire products following blueprints, models, and work instructions.
Perform intricate fitting and aligning within close tolerances.
Operate production machines (trim machines, crimpers, presses, riveting machines, etc.).
Identify and solder components per commercial specifications.
Build harness assemblies and perform thru-hole PCB assembly as required.
Follow work cell procedures and document job status in SAP or Excel.
Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Work flexible assignments within and outside of the home department.
Meet prescribed quality and safety standards.
Work overtime as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
1–3 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and identify proper components and color codes.
Strong soldering skills and mechanical assembly experience.
Experience using hand and power tools, as well as production equipment.
Basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation.
Good verbal communication and ability to follow English instructions.
Physically fit for some heavy lifting
