    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented assembly technician to join our dynamic team. As an assembly technician at Baxter Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to work with a small team on a broad variety of projects that involve plumbing, compressing air, wiring, bolting, fastening, and torquing.

    JOB DUTIES

    Perform assembly operations according to established procedures and specifications, with a keen focus on precision and quality.

    Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble complex aerospace components.

    Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to verify conformance to engineering drawings and customer requirements.

    Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.

    Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices at all times.

    Document assembly processes, including any deviations or non-conformities encountered during production.

    Assist in the continuous improvement of assembly procedures and techniques to optimize efficiency and productivity.

    Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes and technologies.

    Adhere to strict compliance standards and regulatory requirements governing aerospace manufacturing operations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be a US person.

    High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in aerospace or manufacturing preferred.

    Proven experience in aerospace assembly or a related field with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.

    Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

    Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment commonly used in aerospace manufacturing.

    Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently or as part of a team.

    Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

    Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of assembly operations.

    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:

    Full time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

    Overtime Pay

    BENEFITS:

    Competitive Pay of $20-40/Hour
