POSITION SUMMARY - Assembly Technician - Assembler
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. The position assembles production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. This role works independently and is expected to be self-driven.
SHIFT - Assembly Technician - Assembler:
- Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m./8 a.m.-5 p.m.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Assembly Technician - Assembler
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Utilize hand-held tools
- Maintain inventory of products in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work following quality standards and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform load tests as required by customer engineering
- Apply various adhesives and sealants with appropriate applications per customer specifications
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS - Assembly Technician - Assembler
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals, and work instructions.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Quality-minded with a high mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Can-do attitude with the ability to take on new responsibilities as needed.
