    The Role

    Twin Rivers Automation is seeking a highly motivated Controls / Assembly Technician to contribute to the control systems wiring / machine assembly of turn-key automated equipment utilizing state-of-the-art robotics, machine vision, and other industrial technologies.

    The Technician is responsible for building the entire machine from Bill of Material and prints to final acceptance by customer.

    This is a high variety position and not a production style manufacturing role. Requires a motivated, self starter, flexible individual.

    The employee will work independently and with cross-functional teams throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. They will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering and Fabrication Teams.

    Responsibilities

    Electrical and Mechanical Assembly of custom designed automation machines.

    Assembly of robotics, PLC's, HMI's, sensors, pneumatics to machine base along with conveyors and fabricated hardware.

    Understanding technical BOM (bill of materials)

    Assembly of machine to power-on, debug, process fine tuning to validation.

    Maintain proper documentation

    Meeting all safety and customer acceptance standards.

    Requirements

    2-3 years experience in related position

    Experience wiring control panels and assembly of robotic cells.

    Ability read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawings and specifications

    Understands basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD & T)

    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes in the work requests or environment
