Job Summary:
Join an expanding chemical industry leader as a Lead Engineer for maintenance and
reliability of fixed and rotating equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the plant’s
operational efficiency, asset reliability, and mechanical integrity through predictive and
preventive maintenance strategies. You will oversee asset care, outage guidance, and
overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), helping to drive continuous improvement in plant
performance.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement reliability strategies aligned with business objectives,
including critical spare equipment identification and asset care planning.
? Manage all mechanical equipment-related maintenance beyond the mechanical
integrity (MI) program.
? Oversee plant changes, including equipment and process improvements, to enhance
OEE, reliability, process quality, and preventive maintenance.
? Analyze maintenance costs and repair frequencies, leveraging OEE data to identify
bad actors and implement improvement measures.
? Lead cross-functional teams in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root
Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma initiatives, and equipment improvements.
? Prepare monthly reports on major maintenance and reliability activities, including
capital project status updates.
? Execute and oversee maintenance work orders, ensuring quality metrics are met and
operators document all non-optimal plant issues in CMMS (JDE or equivalent).
? Lead and coordinate RCA investigations for equipment failures and significant
reliability incidents, assigning resources as needed.
Qualifications:
? BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
? 5+ years of experience as a Reliability/Maintenance Engineer in a PSM-regulated
chemical plant.
? Strong expertise in fixed & rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
? Solid technical knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, mechanical
integrity, and overall asset care/OEE.
? Extensive experience with RCM, RCA, Six Sigma, and CMMS programs.
? Ability to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
