Asset Management Administrator (Entry-Level)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT - This is fully onsite for the first 6 months with potential to go hybrid after.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Management Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the company's asset database, overseeing end-of-lease procedures, and assisting with sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will be organized, have strong communication skills, and possess a solid understanding of asset management processes and sustainability practices.
Essential Duties:
Maintain Asset Records
Enter and update asset information accurately in the company’s asset database.
Update asset statues, such as location changes, lease returns, extensions, or other changes to the asset’s condition.
Work with other departments to ensure asset records are consistent and up to date.
Support Sustainability Tracking
Collect and record data related to asset recycling, energy usage, or other environmental metrics.
Assist in compiling information for sustainability reports used in internal reviews or customer
submissions.
Help ensure that asset handling supports the company’s environmental and CSR policies.
Email sustainability reports to active customers or upload them into customer-specific portals
according to their preferences.
Reporting & Administrative Tasks
Generate simple reports on asset status, lease timelines, and sustainability data using templates and tools provided.
Keep digital files and documentation organized and accessible, including lease agreements and compliance records.
Send recurring reports to customers, following established schedules and customer needs.
Team Collaboration & General Support
Provide day-to-day support to the asset management team and related departments like finance and operations.
Help answer basic questions about asset procedures or provide documents to team members as needed.
Support small projects or training activities by preparing materials or updating documentation.
Diversity Spend Reporting
Request monthly or quarterly reports outlining spend by each customer from the accounting team on a monthly and quarterly basis and format data into a Merrimak Diversity Spend Report.
Email the reports to active customers or upload them into customer-specific portals according to their preferences.
Maintain a log of completed submissions and assist in ensuring all reports are delivered on time.
Education & Experience:
Entry-Level position (1 - 3 years of experience)
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Asset Management, or a related field, or combined experience with education.
Experience in asset management, lease administration, or sustainability reporting is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of sustainability practices, including carbon footprint reduction, recycling, and environmental compliance.
Familiarity with asset management systems or databases.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
