Job Description

Apex Clean Energy is currently seeking a summer associate to support a variety of projects, activities, and operations that occur within the renewable energy business. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in management of standardized document repository
• With support of asset manager(s), assist in ad hoc reporting requests and analyses
• Assist with developing a project onboarding compendium that will be used as a reference during the construction to operating phase of an asset
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree candidate with a strong academic record; MBA candidate preferred
• Highly attentive and detail oriented.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), including SharePoint.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines.
• Effective project management skills.
• Expected graduation date in December 2025 or May 2026

• The summer associate program will run from June 2 through August 8 but we can be flexible with the start and end dates
• Hours: Full Time
• Type: Non-Exempt
• Paid Internship: Undergraduate, $17/Hour; Graduate, $27/Hour
• Office Location: Our Charlottesville, VA headquarters
