Marketing Consultant
Reports To: The Marketing Consultant will report to Director of Marketing & Creative Services.
Job Overview: The MCs responsibilities include those of providing marketing solutions that support our clients’ marketing needs, while supporting AMS corporate initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties : Assets clients are independent insurance/securities advisors. Our role is to develop, monitor, and consult on marketing that provides quantitative results:
• Work directly with Business Consultants to identify individual marketing needs for each advisor, to further build-out a strategy that aligns with each client’s objectives
• Study client’s company profile and operations to understand their marketing needs
• Conduct marketing research to identify trends and opportunities for clients
• Support client’s lead generation efforts through digital, traditional marketing, and preparation of B2C events
• Curate copy for both clients and for Asset such as email communications, social media, and branding efforts
• Advise on client’s branding, positioning, communications and other marketing issues
• Establish and measure ROI and KPIs such as email CTR, social media engagement, and event metrics
• Monitor client’s marketing and analyze results
• Develop and implement social media & corporate branding strategies according to outlined client or corporate objectives
• Research external vendor opportunities
• Communicate on a regular basis with the Marketing Director on which tools are effective or ineffective for client and corporate communications
• Company copywriting of regular email communications, social media content, & brand brainstorming efforts
**Qualifications/Requirements **
The following qualifications/requirements are optimal for an individual to successfully fill this position:
• Financial Services industry experience
• Experience with lead generation programs
• BS/BA in marketing communications or business relative field and/or 2+ years of proven experience in a marketing consultant or similar role • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices
• Ability to work with many deadlines within close proximity
• Strategic thinker and problem solver
• Apt in writing Financial Services industry content
• Excellent communicator and presentations skills (oral and written)
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in all MS Office Suite products
• Working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, and project management software
• Basic understanding of digital lead generation and digital marketing techniques
