Position Summary
The Asset Recovery Specialist reports to the Asset Recovery Specialist Shift Lead as well as in concert with the Repossession Department Head and is responsible for physically securing collateral from delinquent customers while driving a wrecker.
Essencial Duties and Responsabilities
- Company Policies
- Safety: Places safety of the public, equipment, and assets in care and custody as the top priority.
- Attendance: Follows assigned schedule in accordance with our company's attendance policy.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Vehicle Servicing- Ensures equipment is maintained according to company policy.
- Supervisor Notification: Immediate notification of supervisor in the event of any equipment malfunction or damage.
- Vehicle Protocols- Follows all protocols for tracking, securing, and ensuring the safe operation of company equipment.
- Repo Tasks & Duties
- Repossession Processes- Follows company policy and procedures regarding repossession protocol including using all required software as directed for assignment updates, repo reporting, and door knocking while understanding that these are all mandated by client SLA (Service Level Agreements).
- Performance Expectations- Maintains performance expectations as outlined by management.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Adheres to all state, local, and federal laws including towing ordinances.
- Comply with Tribal Reservation Laws.
- Communications
- Follows Chain of Command.
- Escalated Events: Immediate notification of supervisor in the event of an escalated event during a repossession.
- HR Matters to be directed to our company ́s HR Specialist.
- Electronic Communications: Follows company policies regarding frequency, type, and authorized electronic communications.
- Ensure efficient and professional communication amongst departments.
- Other Expectations
- Assists in training new team members as directed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Able to adapt to a fast pace.
- Driving a tow truck, heading to addresses, picking up a car – moving around the city.
- Clean driving record.
- At least 23 years old.
- Must have their driving license for at least 2 years.
- Navigation.
- Someone who enjoys the job.
- Car enthusiast.
- Computer skills.
- Bilingual.
Education & Experience
- Level of education: High school.
