Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for children. We hold classes at both our brick and mortar locations in Dana Point and Aliso Viejo, as well as classes and events at local elementary schools and community centers in the Irvine and South Orange County areas. We are currently looking for someone to fill an assistant teacher role where you would support our lead teachers during classes and prep time. Hours will be part-time and may vary but would largely take place on weekday afternoons and weekends. This is a great job for high school or college students who want to acquire valuable resume-building experience working in a fun, teaching environment and love introducing children to the wonderful world of Art!
Kidcreate’s curriculum, designed by art education professionals, is tailored to match the developmental needs of children at different ages. We offer preschool classes that encourage children's growing independence and school-aged classes that encourage self-confidence and creativity. Our mobile clients are schools, homeowners associations, community centers and resorts.
Kidcreate South Orange County is owned by a local entrepreneur who is passionate about kids, quality art education, and the local community. She values the members of her teaching team and is committed to maintaining a supportive and rewarding work enviroment.

What you'll do
Help prepare for classes and projects (using provided curriculum)
Assist Lead Teachers and their students during classes for children ages 3-12
Assist in setup and cleanup
Help maintain the studio and our supplies
What is required
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to submit to a background check
Able to lift and carry 10-20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally
Flexible availability and comfortable with part-time hours
