    An established and reputable HealthCare Facility in Birmingham, AL is seeking to hire an Assistant Bookkeeper with Payroll experience. If you have a desire to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both the long-term and short-term care industry, this is the opportunity for you!

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Administrator with Accounts Receivables and other office administrative functions
    • Assist the Bookkeeper in all aspects of payroll
    • Responsible for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Payroll day-to-day functions
    • Maintain rapport with all personnel in the facility

    Requirements:

    • High School degree or GED required
    • 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience to include: A/R, A/P and payroll
    • Must have Insurance Billing for Medicare and Medicaid experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good working knowledge of general office practices

    $42,000-$50,000 per year
