Job Summary: As RYSE’s Assistant Buyer, you will have the opportunity to support RYSE’s operations through skillful selection and procurement of materials, products, packaging, and other goods crucial for sustaining optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute POs ensuring all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and accurately priced

Track and monitor order(s) status to ensure timely delivery of goods

Nurture and improve relationships with vendors, suppliers, forwarders, and other operational partners to maintain good standing

Facilitate supplier/vendor communications with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc)

Collaborate with senior buyers and Leadership in developing purchasing strategies to meet company objectives

Participate in vendor meetings and product evaluations

Education and Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in an assistant buyer, purchasing agent, or a related role

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, etc.

Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

Strong communication skills (written, oral)

Able to work independently with a self-starting approach while also contributing effectively to a team environment

Able to work at a desk/on a computer for up to 8 hours a day

Standout Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience purchasing in the food & beverage, CPG, or beverage manufacturing industries

Personally health passionate
