Responsibilities - Assistant Construction Project Manager:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial construction projects.
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Track and manage project budgets, invoices, and change orders.
- Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, contracts, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor project timelines and help resolve potential delays or issues.
- Conduct site visits and assist in quality control inspections.
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure smooth project progression.
- Assist with procurement of materials and equipment as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction or a related role.
- Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
