Qualifications

Experience: At least 2+ years of on-site commercial construction experience (Assistant Superintendent or similar role).

Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, trade sequencing, and best practices in commercial builds.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications; comfortable with digital plan-reading tools.

Field Layout Experience: Some exposure to laying out trades on-site is a plus.

Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to support and maintain project schedules.

Hands-On Mindset: Willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist with day-to-day construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead Superintendent: Collaborate closely with the Superintendent to coordinate subcontractors, manage materials, and uphold safety standards.

On-Site Oversight: Assist in daily project monitoring, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting: Capture daily field reports, photos, and videos to update management and stakeholders on progress.

Quality Control: Help review plans, blueprints, and specifications, maintaining compliance with project requirements and OSHA regulations.

Communication: Act as a liaison between the Lead Superintendent, subcontractors, and other site personnel to address any issues swiftly and effectively.

Hands-On Support: Step in to handle minor construction tasks, ensuring smooth workflow on the job site.
