Our client, a leading healthcare practice management company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join their growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  
• Provide financial information and insights to support decision-making.
• Lead the preparation of monthly reports and conduct financial analyses.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Review and manage payroll, EOB (Explanation of Benefits) analysis, and other key financial data.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience is required. (Big-4 is a plus).
• Experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience with SAGE 100 is a plus.
