    Job Summary:

    Using Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud CRM system, the Assistant Director – CRM Business Operations will play a vital role on the digital communications team by using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud to assist in configuring and maintaining data to meet business needs. Experience in automation processes, SQL queries, HTML, and AMPscript will be key in building solutions for targeting, personalization, and reporting. They will analyze data to improve performance, troubleshoot system issues, manage email deliverability, and subscription management.

    **Essential Functions: **

    • Assist in configuring and maintaining Marketing Cloud and CRM data according to defined priorities and strategies to meet business requirements and challenges.
    • Provide expertise in Marketing Cloud automation processes, SQL queries, HTML and AMPscript.
    • Aid in managing email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management, and compliance with university policy on opt-in/out & CAN-SPAM compliance.
    • Build solutions and processes for targeting, personalization, configuration, strategy, and reporting.
    • Support in analyzing data from analytics and implementing improvements for performance and deliverability.
    • Report and troubleshoot system outages, failed sends, automation errors, and other anomalies.
    • Monitor send logs in Marketing Cloud for patterns, errors, and analytic trends.
    • Establish testing and deployment strategies and processes.
    • Develop documentation and knowledge base of current processes.
    • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep for all business units in Marketing Cloud.

    **Competencies : **

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • Minimum of 3 years experience with progressive responsibility in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

    • Salesforce Certification preferred.

    **Work Environment : **

    This position operates in a professional work environment and uses standard office equipment.

    **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work : **

    This full-time position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

    **Required Education and Experience: **

    • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.

    • Salesforce Certification preferred.

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for candidates with 3+ years of experience is $72,700 - $90,900, and the annual salary range for candidates with 5+ years of experience is $96,200 - $114,000.
