ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Reads and embraces the philosophy and concepts of all Kids ‘R’ Kids Curriculum components
· Assist the Director in the day-to-day operations
· Provide accurate information to parents through school tours, phone tours, and electronic communication
· Take tuition payments and accurately post them in the payment system
· Visits classrooms daily; conducts observations and evaluations
· Be available to parents and families to listen to concerns
· Provides leadership and direction to teachers regarding health and safety in South Carolina Child Care.
· Assists teachers in recognizing their strengths and weaknesses, helps them set attainable goals, and encourages them to work toward becoming the best teachers they can be
· Plans and implements staff development activities
· Develops and implements positive public relations activities for parents and community
· Reports directly to the center director
· Skilled in the use of computers and software
· Assists in the hiring process by conducting interviews with the director.
· Assist in the new staff onboarding process with staff orientation
· Willing and able to perform all positions within the facility as needed for coverage assistance
