    About the Role:

If so, My Gym Children’s Fitness Center in Downingtown is looking for an Assistant Director to join our energetic team!

    As the Assistant Director, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our center, working closely with the Director to ensure the smooth functioning of programs and activities. You will lead by example, providing guidance, support, and motivation to our staff while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children and families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the Director in overseeing all aspects of the center's operations, including program management, staff supervision, customer service, and facility maintenance.

    Lead and mentor a team of instructors, providing ongoing training, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality program delivery.

    Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and enhance the My Gym experience.

    Manage the scheduling of staff and classes, ensuring optimal coverage and utilization of resources.

    Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to promote teamwork, communication, and professional development.

    Serve as a point of contact for parents, addressing any concerns or inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

    Assist in marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

    Maintain a safe and clean environment for children and staff, adhering to health and safety guidelines and protocols.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a children's fitness or educational setting.

    Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, parents, and children.

    Passion for working with children and a commitment to their holistic development.

    Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed, with a commitment to at least one year of employment.

    CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
