We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Brooklyn to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nursing professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to maintaining high-quality care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As the ADON, your duties will include:

Leadership & Supervision:

Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with management responsibilities.

Oversee daily staffing processes and ensure effective communication across nursing teams.

Support the onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff.

Clinical Operations:

Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds and ensure effective infection control protocols.

Meet the medical needs of residents and maintain accurate, timely medical records.

Coordinate and direct the planning and implementation of nursing services.

Compliance & Quality Control:

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Monitor and address issues related to documentation and staff performance.

Flexibility & Responsiveness:

Be available 24/7 on-call to address unpredictable needs.

Maintain flexibility with work schedules to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).

3+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).

2+ years of management experience (preferred).

1+ year of staff education experience (preferred).

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
