We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our skilled nursing facility in Corning, NY.     Key Responsibilities

    As the ADON, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents:

    Leadership & Supervision:

    Assist the DNS in managing nursing staff and maintaining care standards.

    Oversee daily staffing processes and ensure effective communication across the nursing team.

    Support staff through ongoing education and mentoring.

    Clinical Responsibilities:

    Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds and ensure effective infection control practices.

    Meet the medical needs of residents and ensure timely completion of medical records.

    Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.

    Operational Oversight:

    Coordinate and direct total planning for nursing services.

    Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff.

    Maintain flexibility to address unpredictable operational needs.

    Qualifications

    Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).

    3+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).

    2+ years of management experience (preferred).

    1+ year of staff education experience (preferred).

    Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.

    Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on facility needs.
