    MVP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to support the clinical team at a highly respected, non-profit Skilled Nursing Facility located 30 minutes East of Hartford, CT. This faith-based community provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and end-of-life care, welcoming residents and staff of all faiths. The facility features beautiful indoor and outdoor amenities, including a Chapel with daily mass and a serene courtyard.

    Position Overview:

    As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll work closely with the Director of Nursing to lead a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to residents, supporting regulatory compliance, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and the care team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing staffing plans to meet departmental needs.

    • Monitor and evaluate nursing care quality through rounds.

    • Support compliance with state and federal regulations, especially during annual surveys, and assist in the development and implementation of plans of correction as needed.

    • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on resident care and operational strategies.

    • Address and resolve resident, family, and staff concerns in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.

    • Promote a positive, person-centered environment for residents and staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Active Connecticut RN licensure.

    • Previous supervisory experience in long-term care.

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
