MMC
STCW Medical Certificate – we require the STCW Expiration Date to be valid
TWIC badge- Not to expire within three months
Valid Passport – Not to expire within six months

** Bachelors Degree in Accounting, advanced degree is preferred
**LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
** CPA required
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
· Strong organizational, time management and task management skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of SEC, GAAP and SOX 404 requirements.
· Proficient in Excel.
· Working knowledge of JD Edwards (ERP) General Ledger and subledgers.
· Energetic self-starter that can multitask, prioritize, and complete assigned work within deadlines.
· Experience with the following is preferred:
o Accounting for stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
o Lease accounting (ASC 842)
o Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
· Working knowledge of XBRL taxonomies preferred.
