Job Summary: Storm Guard is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills for interacting with homeowners and insurance adjusters.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of Xactimate estimating a plus.

Collaborate with all departments.

Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain estimates, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.

Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate claim processing and approval.

Maintain detailed records of estimates, communications, and project updates.

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and insurance requirements.

Provide administrative support to the estimating department as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience with the claim process preferred.

Knowledge of construction, restoration, or roofing industries preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with homeowners and insurance adjusters.

Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus.
