Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction and efficient hotel operations. The successful candidate will coordinate, direct and manage day-to-day operations for the hotel. This is a heavy F&B position as the AGM will oversee the Bistro and Banquet Departments.
Responsibilities
Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Banquets, Bistro. Position will assist in overseeing Front Desk, Housekeeping and Engineering.
Ensure guest and associate satisfaction and efficient hotel operations
Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
Implement standards and operating procedures.
Drive revenue at the Bistro by implementing food and beverage specials.
Work with the sales team in pricing for events.
Coach and train new associates
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 3 year(s) of supervisory experience.
This position reports to: General Manager
Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.
