We need an experienced hospitality expert who can work with our general manager on daily operations and take on their responsibilities, such as managing workers and department operations, while they are not available. Responsibilities: • Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable • Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention • Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met Guest Services: • Assist front desk staff with guest inquiries and concerns • Address guest complaints via email or phone calls • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service Administrative Duties: • Maintain accurate records and reports • Prepare and submit weekly reports • Create and update templates and documents • Assist with payroll processing Inventory Management: • Maintain inventory of front desk supplies and order as needed • Oversee Retail Treatshop inventory and create purchase orders for approval Front Desk Operations: • Monitor PMS for arrivals, departures, and in-house guests • Ensure front desk staff adheres to uniform and work schedule policies • Review and approve Night Audit reports • Conduct inspections to ensure completion of front desk shift tasks Other Duties: • Assist with new hire recruitment and onboarding • Schedule weekly breakfast orders • Participate in weekly manager meetings and take notes • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment Qualifications: • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field • A high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in hospitality management or a related field • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
