    Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing projects, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for natural hair care, and a commitment to our salon’s values.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operations Management:

    Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day salon operations.

    Oversee scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client demand.

    Ensure the salon is clean, well-maintained, and adheres to all health and safety regulations.

    Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure products are well-stocked and properly displayed.

    Customer Service:

    Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.

    Ensure all staff deliver exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

    Handle escalated customer issues and work to resolve them efficiently.

    Team Leadership:

    Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and developing salon staff.

    Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

    Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide ongoing training.

    Financial Management:

    Assist in managing the salon’s budget and financial performance.

    Monitor sales, track performance metrics, and implement strategies to achieve targets.

    Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.

    Marketing and Promotion:

    Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

    Coordinate promotional events and special offers.

    Manage the salon’s social media presence and engage with the online community.

    Project Management:

    Lead and manage special projects, such as salon renovations, new service launches, or community events.

    Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the General Manager and other stakeholders.

    Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

    Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

    Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

    Reporting and Administration:

    Maintain accurate records of client appointments, sales, and inventory.

    Prepare and submit reports to the General Manager on salon performance and staff productivity.

    Ensure compliance with all salon policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a salon or retail environment.

    Strong knowledge and passion for natural hair care and styling.

    Excellent leadership and team management skills.

    Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

    Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficient in salon management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Experience in project management, including planning, executing, and closing projects.

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in cosmetology, business management, or project management is a plus.
