    Nomad Mobile Technologies is a leader in Telematics Installation, specializing in the deployment of technologies such as Dashcams, DVR camera systems, GPS, electronic logbooks, and other essential systems for large fleets on the road. Our team travels across the U.S., with technicians often staying on the road for 300+ days a year. We cover hotel and Airbnb accommodations, reimburse gas receipts, and handle routine vehicle maintenance for our team members. We manage projects ranging from 10-20 vehicles to large-scale installations for fleets of 3,500+ vehicles, as well as ongoing maintenance routes for companies nationwide.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help optimize the operational systems and processes of the company, maximizing efficiency and profitability while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 mobile technicians, ensuring high standards of performance, and effective resource management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in overseeing all operational aspects of the business, including field operations and inventory control.

    • Support the creation and implementation of strategic and operational goals and objectives.

    • Develop and implement systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.

    • Manage, mentor, and support a team of 10-20 mobile technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development.

    • Ensure the organization complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

    • Analyze financial data, assist in budget creation, and develop financial forecasts.

    • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and project success.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field, preferred. Experience in related fields is also accepted.

    • 2-4 years of managerial experience, preferably in a mobile or field service environment.

    • Proven experience in managing a team of 10-20 individuals, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.

    • In-depth understanding of organizational effectiveness, operational management, and resource allocation.

    • Ability to analyze financial data, create budgets, and develop accurate financial forecasts.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

    • Knowledge of business practices, financial principles, and compliance requirements in a mobile field service context.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

    • Willingness to travel out of state for project kick offs and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
