    As the Assistant General Manager "Personal Training", you’ll combine your passion for fitness with your leadership skills to manage both the operational and coaching sides of our gym. You’ll help guide a team of trainers, ensure members are getting the most out of their fitness experience, and lead by example when it comes to personal training excellence. In addition to assisting with day-to-day management and operations, you will play a pivotal role in growing our personal training business by offering customized coaching, inspiring clients, and boosting member engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Ignite Membership Growth: Drive new membership sign-ups by engaging with guests and demonstrating how Gold’s Gym can help them achieve their fitness goals. Use your coaching expertise to encourage sign-ups for personal training packages and memberships.

    Fitness Assessments & Coaching: Conduct detailed fitness assessments for new and existing members, evaluating body composition, strength, and overall fitness levels. Based on these assessments, create customized workout plans using body sculpting, bodybuilding, and powerlifting techniques.

    Train and Inspire: Lead by example by delivering high-quality, personalized fitness coaching. Guide members through exercises, ensuring they maintain proper form, avoid injury, and get the most out of their workout routines.

    Goal Setting & Tracking: Collaborate with clients to set achievable fitness goals and track their progress. Provide ongoing support, adjust plans when necessary, and celebrate successes to keep them motivated.

    Motivation & Service: Provide continuous motivation to help members stay on track. Actively promote personal training packages, aiming to convert members into loyal, paying clients. Strive to increase the overall revenue of the personal training department.

    Operations & Facility Management: Work with the General Manager to maintain smooth operations across the gym, including managing equipment cleanliness and safety. Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, scheduling, and maintaining a high-energy, welcoming environment for both members and staff.

    Team Collaboration & Leadership: Support and mentor a team of fitness professionals, ensuring they deliver excellent service and maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere. Help manage trainer schedules, encourage team cohesion, and assist with recruitment as necessary.

    Member Engagement & Customer Service: Foster positive relationships with members, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback. Provide exceptional customer service and help ensure that every member has a rewarding experience.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Proven experience in personal training, fitness coaching, or a related field. Previous leadership or management experience.

    Certifications: Current personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar).

    Sales Experience: Strong sales skills and the ability to promote personal training packages to members. A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets is highly desirable.

    Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire clients, as well as manage a team of trainers.

    Fitness Passion: A genuine passion for fitness, health, and wellness. Knowledgeable in various fitness disciplines.

    Problem-Solving & Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
