    TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott dual brand property at the Georgia National Fairgrounds is seeking a dynamic and results-driven hospitality professional to serve in a dual role as Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Sales Manager. This position supports the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations while actively leading the property’s sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about guest satisfaction, team leadership, and revenue generation. Responsibilities: Operations & Leadership (Assistant General Manager Duties): • Assist the General Manager with the overall management of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services. • Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, ensuring smooth operations and prompt resolution of guest concerns. • Supervise department heads and staff, providing leadership, coaching, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment. • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and local regulations. • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for hotel staff. • Help manage property-level financial performance, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting. Sales & Revenue Generation (Sales Manager Duties): • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue across all market segments, including corporate, group, government, and extended stay. • Prospect, solicit, and secure new business through proactive sales calls, in-person visits, networking events, and digital outreach. • Maintain relationships with existing accounts to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. • Conduct hotel tours and prepare customized proposals and contracts for prospective clients. • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve sales goals and contribute to the annual marketing plan. • Maintain accurate records in the property’s CRM and reporting systems (e.g., SalesPro, Marriott systems). Qualifications: • 2+ years of hotel management or operations experience, preferably with Marriott-branded properties. • 2+ years of hospitality sales experience with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals. • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of Marriott systems (MARSHA, FOSSE, SalesPro, CI/TY, etc.) is a strong plus. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with all departments. • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation: $58,000 - $68,000 yearly
