About the Position
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a critical leadership role at Scenthound, supporting the General Manager in driving sales, managing operations, and fostering a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership skills, specific sales experience with proven results, and exceptional customer service abilities to help achieve organizational goals.
We will provide training for the right candidate who brings strong sales experience and a commitment to learning and growth.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Actively drive membership sales and upsell services through health and wellness education.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
Train and mentor the team in sales techniques, ensuring consistent performance.
Team Leadership:
Assist with recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the team.
Provide coaching to ensure team members understand and uphold Scenthound’s values and standards.
Operations Management:
Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to critical KPIs: Labor Efficiency Ratio, Average Ticket Price, Rebook Ratio, etc.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for dogs, employees, and customers.
Ensure all team members follow Scenthound’s safety and sanitation protocols.
Customer Relations:
Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Foster relationships with clients, emphasizing Scenthound’s focus on dog wellness.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven sales experience with specific examples of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt within a team-driven environment.
Requirements:
Proven record of sales success, with examples of achieving or exceeding quotas.
Strong desire to learn and grow in a leadership role; previous leadership experience is not required.
Physical strength to lift up to 70 pounds and stamina to stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
