Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swim school that teaches children ages 3 months through adult how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.
Job Description:
Waterworks is seeking an ambitious and performance driven Assistant General Manager to take on administrative and management duties of our Northern California Region. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who drives for results and can take advantage of our competitive bonus structure. You will be responsible for managing our aquatics and office team and providing feedback to them.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures the overall administrative duties of the region are completed to standard.
Oversees the aquatics team and provides feedback on their performance.
Assists General Manager with day-to-day tasks and assignments.
Collaborates with and receives feedback from senior management team to improve current systems in place.
Provides constant feedback and development to Customer Experience Experts, Senior Customer Experience Experts, Shift Leads, and Lead Trainers.
Oversees to ensure office flow/operations are in line with Waterworks’ standards at all times.
Coaches, trains, and role plays daily in order to ensure all team members are modeling company expectations and are aligned with Waterworks customer service vision statement.
Makes recommendations on current staffing levels to ensure office and aquatics are optimally staffed at all times.
Helps boost morale around the workplace and acts as a positive role model for others.
Assists in providing team members with meaningful feedback daily.
General Qualifications:
Previous people management experience is required.
Previous aquatics experience is preferred.
Current certifications in CPR (Adult, Child, Infant), AED, and First Aid.
Must be goal and results driven.
Must be solutions oriented.
Must showcase ability to coach, train and motivate employees.
Must be energetic, outgoing, and a quick learner.
Must have a positive attitude.
Must be able to work Sunday-Thursday.
