Job Description
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is to assist the general manager in recruiting, training, retraining, and coaching club employees and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club.
Lead the team by example in customer service, cleanliness, and culture
Build long-term member and vendor relationships
Provide a high level of customer service to all members and effectively resolve issues
Assist in managing/leading supervisors and team members to acceptable professionalism and
job performance during the day-to-day operations
Assist in the hiring, training, retaining, and scheduling of all club employees
Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring the facility is clean and safe
Qualifications
⚫ High school graduate or GED
⚫ Bachelor’s degree or currently continuing education preferred
⚫ Sports or fitness background preferred
⚫ Two years of Leadership experience
⚫ Exceptional verbal and social communication skills
⚫ Excellent ability to provide a positive attitude and energetic vibe consistently
⚫ Calm under pressure
⚫ Service-based attitude
⚫ Concerned with doing things the RIGHT way (not the quickest way) and to the Chuze standard
⚫ Having extreme attention to detail
⚫ Works great with a team
