    Job Summary

    The Save A Lot Assistant Store Manager is responsible for creating an excellent shopping experience for all customers, driving sales growth & profitability and establishing an engaging work environment for all team members.

    Responsibilities

    Provides leadership, coaching and development to their store team members regarding their tasks, duties, role requirements and performance standards

    Ensures the store is operated according to the operational standards set forth by the company and in a manner that maximizes sales, profits and a world class shopping experience for our customers

    Trains, develops, mentors and coaches all team members to success within their roles today and into the future by upskilling them using best practice tools and techniques

    Maintains a clean, safe and secure work environment by owning the daily execution of Food Safety, Health & Safety and Compliance policies and practices in line with Company, Federal, State or City requirements

    Manages store in the absence of the Store Manager/Owners

    Assists Store Manager/Owners with day to day operations

    Qualifications

    Must be 18 years of age

    High School diploma or equivalent required

    Basic computer proficiency

    Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of management experience in Retail preferably grocery

    Management/Leadership experience supervising others along with previous experience in merchandising and cash handling.

    Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

    Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

    We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

    Day shift is not available

    Main Shift is 12:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 7:30 Sundays with 2-3 days off per week- we try to rotate Sundays

    Must have a valid Ohio driver's license
