    Position Overview:

    The Assistant Head of School, Enrollment Management serves on the Senior Administrative Team and plays a critical role in advancing the school’s mission by leading student recruitment and retention efforts. The Hudson School, having recently merged with a strong PK-Grade 8 program, has strategic space to grow for the first time in school history. This position focuses on growing enrollment, strengthening relationships with prospective families, and ensuring a seamless admissions and enrollment experience.

    Strategic Enrollment Growth

    • Develop and execute an enrollment strategy to increase student applications and yield.
    • Identify new opportunities for outreach and partnerships to expand the school’s reach.
    • Analyze enrollment trends and market demographics to inform decision-making.

    Admissions & Recruitment

    • Lead the dynamic admissions team and lead the admissions process for prospective families.
    • Organize and lead open houses, school tours, shadow days, and other recruitment events with warmth and professionalism.

    Community Engagement & Outreach

    • Build strong relationships with peer schools and feeder schools, community organizations, and educational consultants.
    • Partner with faculty, staff, and current families to enhance word-of-mouth referrals.
    • Maintain a visible presence at school and community events to promote enrollment.
    • Oversee the student ambassador program

    Data Management & Reporting

    • Track and analyze key enrollment metrics to measure progress and adjust strategies.
    • Maintain accurate records in the admissions database and ensure timely follow-up.
    • Prepare reports for school leadership on enrollment trends and projections.

    Qualifications:

    • A successful candidate will believe in the power and importance of growing community
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in K-12 admissions and enrollment management
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
    • Recognize individual student learning needs and develop strategies to address those needs
    • Experience with admissions software, applications and data analysis
    • Creative problem solving skills and a strategic mindset

    Details:

    This position is full-time and begins on July 1, 2025 or sooner. This position is eligible for full benefits.
