When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. Benefits: • Vacation Time • Sick leave • Health/Dental/Vision Insurance • Employee rate for hotel stays around the world • Same day pay Responsibilities: • Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed • Recommend improvements that will improve the hotel profitability by analyzing department performance and identifying problem areas • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support Qualifications: • Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degree • Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills Compensation: $55,000
