FUDPUCKER'S is filling its most important positions today - our Assistant Maintenance Manager . We are looking for experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to complete our team here at the world famous Fudpucker's. If you have skills in leadership, scheduling, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing and lawn/garden maintenance....we would love to have you as a part of our team.

You probably already know this, but Fudpucker's is one of the most famous places in Northwest Florida, if not the Universe. What you may not know, though, is that we are not just famous because of our great food, cold drinks, funny t-shirts and live alligators (though these things ARE pretty amazing). Actually, the main reason that Fudpucker's is famous is because we are really good at making people smile, making people laugh and making people feel at home. And to do that, our training is all about making people feel welcome - and we are really good at doing that for both our visitors AND our employees.

Our MAINTENANCE TEAM is an integral part of our operation as we depend on their skills and ingenuity to be able to service our visitors, employees and....oh yes...our gators!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems · Ability to keep track of and report on activity · Experience in planning maintenance operations · Excellent communication and people skills · Excellent leadership and management skills · Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making · Drivers License · Manage Multiple Projects and Multitask · Computer Skills · Time Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

· Duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and assisting with developing maintenance procedures. · Conducts inspections of facilities, furnishings, and equipment and initiates corrective action. · Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary · Track expenses and control the budget for maintenance · Prepares cost estimates and maintains records of job costs. · Managing relationships with contractors and service providers · Retain maintenance logs and report on daily activities · Ensure all Fudpucker’s health and safety policies are followed · Performs minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry repairs · Oversees and/or coordinates the activities of subordinates · Performs other duties as needed or required to maintain effective services operations · Know a lot of stuff about Fudpucker's (and don't worry... we'll teach ya) · Have fun with people (I know... we said it before, but hey, that's what we do)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle

Must be able to operate power tools

Must be able to stay on your feet for extended periods of time.

Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand while performing duties required.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to work at intense level for exhaustive periods when required.

Must have fun with people (okay... you get the point)
