Assistant Manager
Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar is also seeking a passionate and talented Assistant Manager to join our team. If you have a love for the beauty industry, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for social media management, we want to hear from you!
As an Assistant Manager at Moxie, you will be responsible for supporting the Salon Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Your social media expertise will play a key role in promoting our brand and driving client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and a seamless experience for clients
Lead, train, and mentor a team of beauty professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
Collaborate with the Salon Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including the management of the salon's social media presence
Monitor salon performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Act as a liaison between the salon team and upper management, providing regular updates and feedback
Continually seek opportunities for professional growth and development, staying current on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years of experience
Salon experience preferred
Experience in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), content creation (photo, video, graphic design), marketing strategy (branding, promotions, hashtag optimization), customer engagement (responding to comments, managing reviews, community building), and, ideally, experience with paid ads, influencer collaborations, and basic video editing to enhance the salon’s online presence and drive sales.
Previous experience in management, preferably in the salon or beauty industry
Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to staying current on trends and techniques
