Started in 1954, C&L Supply, Inc. is a family-owned distribution company that serves independent appliance and furniture dealers in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. We strive to provide our customers with superior customer service through our sales approach and delivering our product on our private fleet of trucks.
We are accepting applications for Assistant Manager – Operations for our Memphis, TN distribution center.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
· Warehouse and/or logistics experience including understanding of warehouse and warehouse equipment operations.
· Operational experience surrounding outbound logistics and trucking is a plus.
· High degree of personal ethics, customer service, and commitment to safety.
· Strong organizational, leadership, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily.
· Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals by communicating and working with co-workers.
· Demonstrate proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Office.
· Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull 60-pound weight requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
· Customer interaction and business relationship support.
· Responsible for assisting the Branch Manager / District Manager in the oversight of warehouse and delivery/logistics operations for Memphis distribution center.
· Maintain and monitor internal controls over inventory and delivery process.
· Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and partners.
YOUR SCHEDULE:
This is a full time, hourly position (schedule may vary). 40+ hours/week. Monday through Friday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
