Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable Assistant Manager to join our team at Pet Evolution Irvine. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, assisting customers, and managing the front desk with a focus on providing exceptional service. A solid understanding of pet food, nutrition, and care is essential to support our customers in making informed choices for their pets.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Assist customers in selecting pet food, supplies, and accessories tailored to their pets' specific needs.
Provide expert advice on pet nutrition and recommend appropriate products.
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Operational Responsibilities
Open and close the store following proper procedures as a key holder.
Maintain accurate cash handling and perform end-of-day financial reconciliations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves and managing product displays.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk and store.
Team Collaboration
Support team members by sharing product knowledge and assisting in training new hires.
Communicate effectively with the management team regarding operational or customer concerns.
Other Duties
Stay updated on pet food brands, trends, and nutritional information to maintain expertise.
Assist in store promotions, events, and other customer engagement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
