    Job Description

    This position provides the leadership, direction, and resources to effectively manage retail stores, daily departmental operations, and special projects supporting the theme park.

    Essential Functions:

    • Executes strategic plans to optimize store profits while maintaining quality, cleanliness and Guest Service standards.
    • Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance Guest Service and retail store operations.
    • Support creating a cohesive team while demonstrating organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring, and coaching skills.
    • Partner with Human Resources Manager to train, develop, and promote all retail teams through individual performance planning.
    • Assist with performance development, including administering discipline, resolving employee relations issues, and conducting individual and team meetings.
    • Responsible for developing hourly employees, including training, mentoring, and coaching.
    • Accountable for maximizing daily sales and effectively managing costs, labor, inventory, and cash control while focusing on exceeding annual Budget targets.
    • Ensures Guest Satisfaction (GSAT) and shopper reports are within acceptable target scores.
    • Responsible for assisting with developing weekly schedules, focusing on maintaining staffing levels that satisfy budget and guest service goals.
    • Maintain or exceed weekly budgeted variable operation results: shrink, variable labor, safety, guest service, cleanliness, and visual/merchandising presentation.
    • Responsible for monitoring performance and making recommendations to maximize current trends.
    • Communicate regularly with the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding location performance and challenges; make recommendations for improvement when necessary.
    • Review and analyze store performance results daily while identifying and resolving opportunities with the management team.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of high-volume retail management experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or related field) or 5 years of industry experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
    • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and nights as required
    • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day
    • Excellent written and oral English communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization regarding the operation

    Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    Salary range: $27 - $30/hour
