    About the Position:

    The Scenter Assistant Manager / Sales Associate is a vital position at Scenthound, offering sales expertise, leadership and organizational skills, as well as exceptional customer service. We are looking for a candidate interested in developing their skills to grow with our leadership team!

    This position requires:

    Retail sales experience, preferably in a franchise setting

    Customer service experience (retail, restaurant)

    Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

    Reliable transportation

    Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

    Who We Are Looking For:

    We are searching for a confident assistant manager who leads with integrity, honesty, and compassion. A successful candidate will have experience working in a franchise setting, is adaptable, detail-oriented, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can assist with customer sales and day-to-day operations of the Scenter.

    Tasks:

    Drive membership sales through health and wellness education

    Assist with ordering needed supplies

    Assist with employee scheduling

    Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation and training

    Promptly and accurately communicate information from upper management to the team

    Identify when/ where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter operating on time

    Help create an environment conducive to teamwork, open communication, and Scenthound values

    Help manage client expectations and resolve customer concerns

    Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times

    Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices

    Skills and Abilities:

    Effective communication with team members and dog parents

    Sales experience, preferably in a franchise setting

    Leadership, coaching, mentorship

    Problem-solving

    Attention to detail

    Time-management – ability to make an efficient schedule

    Computer/ technology proficiency

    Accountability; hold oneself and others to a high quality of services
