    Job Description

    The Assistant Manager, Sales Planning & Administration supports the U.S. Television and New Media sales team. Primary responsibilities include processing Basic Cable, Free TV, and Digital (SVOD, AVOD, FAST) license agreements for the U.S. territory - ensuring timely, accurate availability reports and sales history in a fast-paced distribution environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and interpret deal summaries and license agreements in order to enter and maintain license terms in contract/availability management and inventory system.
    • Act as a liaison between Sales Administration and Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Distribution Services.
    • Domestic Availability Report and Canada Grid – Support in monitoring new release dates for theatrical films, DVD releases and acquisitions using internal and external reports, update SAFE with license deal terms, manage initial start dates for five output deals, coordinate changes with digital platform team, produce and distribute weekly report.
    • Work alongside the VP in producing availability and licensing resource (Big Book) which functions as a business tool that Sales, Finance, Marketing, Research, and Servicing utilize when negotiating and servicing the needs of clients.
    • Maintain inventory packages which assist Sales Planning in producing reports for Sales, Legal, and other teams that work with Domestic Sales (ex: Finance, UPHE, Focus, etc.).
    • Research and verify product rights, music clearances, and material confirmation.
    • Assist with ad hoc projects and other related duties as requested by management to support the Sales Planning and Administration functions.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or 1+ years work experience required.
    • Demonstrated data analysis and computer proficiency with strong emphasis in Excel.

    • Ability to interpret license agreements to effectively handle deal entry and deal administration.
    • Must be detail oriented and committed to integrity driven results.
    • Must effectively practice prioritization and follow-through on all assigned projects.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent Analytical / Problem-Solving Skills.
    • Must work well independently and in a team environment.
    • Film industry experience, particularly in sales planning and/or administration, is preferred.
    • Experience with filmed entertainment sales tracking applications is helpful.
