    The Original Pancake House, owned by BTE Management Co is looking for an upbeat, driven, professional & team-oriented leader to join our management team who is looking to connect with guests & brighten their day! We are a growing company & are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our Tacoma, WA team. If you are interested in learning & growing with us, we would love to hear from you.

    BTE Management Co owns & operates franchises of the Original Pancake House. BTE was founded in 2009 and is still owned by its original owners. Their first franchise opened in Puyallup, WA in June, 2009. The owners believe in building a work environment that fosters strong working relationships & accountability. The mission at BTE is to ‘connect with people & brighten their day’. It is our constant goal to achieve this mission amongst our staff & guests alike. BTE Management Co currently operates 14 OPH franchises. Each of these teams work together, supporting each other along the way.

    All potential applicants should be available & willing to work weekends. This is a basic requirement of our management team due to the nature of being a breakfast only restaurant. The Original Pancake House operates 363 days a year, closed on Christmas Day & Thanksgiving Day. We are open Monday through Friday 7am-2pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm. No evenings!

    Position: Assistant Manager

    Reports to: General Manager

    Required Training/Education/Experience:

    High school diploma required. Minimum of two years working in the restaurant industry with direct customer interaction. Must possess leadership skills that encourage personal and professional achievement. Encourage and maintain a positive workplace culture while maintaining company policy and expectations.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Complete focus on the guest experience

    40 hours per week availability

    Responsible for carrying out our mission: "To connect with people and brighten their day"

    A clear understanding of company standards for flow, service and seating

    Hire, train, develop, and discipline team members

    Duties split between management days, and floor days spent as server or expediter

    Attend weekly manager meetings with GM

    Compensation:

    Pay Structure

    $25 per hour on manager days, hourly plus tips on floor days
